Chapter 60: His True Face Part 2

Bai Jin Xi blinks.

Since he has come to her, there’s no way that she’ll let him go now.  She puts her arm on the bar table and smiles towards him, “Sure.”

Outside of the clubhouse and inside the Land Rover, Xiao Zhuan and the other two are staring at the monitor.  Jin Lan Heng’s face has been enlarged on the screen, and they are on full alert.  And inside of the clubhouse, Han Chen, who’s not far away from Jin Xi, is watching this scene quietly at his seat.

Chapter 59: His True Face Part 1

Darkness fills the sky.

Sitting in the bar street near CBD makes them feel as if they also have a dab of aloofness and temperament of the rich.  The neon lights on each side of the street don’t sting their eyes too much, and the music isn’t too loud.  The tree canopies cast shadows around them, making everything seem like a prosperous illusion.

Chatterbox, Cold Face, Xiao Zhuan, and Han Chen are sitting in the car, keeping watch of “Crystal Private Clubhouse,” the tallest building that’s not far away.  Compared to the bars around, the square shaped clubhouse seems quieter and low-profile.  Only the lights on the main entrance shine brilliantly.  There are cars continuously stopping at the front, and most of them who get out of the cars are well-dressed men and sometimes women. Chapter 58: My Heart’s Addiction

It’s already 8pm when Han Chen and Bai Jin Xi return home.

They’ve set up cameras and stations to monitor the three suspects, and tomorrow, they will both start working in rotating shifts.  Whether or not they can find a breakthrough in this case, they’ll have to see how things go.

It’s been two days since they’ve returned home.  Coldness seems to fill the whole place.  Han Chen must be exhausted.  He takes off his jacket, change into his slippers, sits on the sofa and doesn’t move.  Jin Xi looks at the side of his face and feels her heart ache, so she doesn’t go over to bother him.  She has had time to sleep in the last two days, so she’s still quite energized.  She thinks for a minute before walking over to the balcony and turning the water heater on.  The washing machine is just below the water heater.  She takes off her jacket and sweater, leaving just a round neck t-shirt on.

The second suspect is Jiang Zi Yi.  Unlike Jin Lan Heng, Jiang Zi Yi is the absolute representation of a noble and rich bachelor.  He’s 1.8 meters tall, skinny, yet has a well-built body.  He wears gold rim glasses, has fair white skin and looks proper.  He’s very well dressed.  He doesn’t have as many brand name accessories as Jin Lan Heng, but he gives others the sense of pure nobleness.

He’s a senior engineer at a well-known IT company.  Although he’s not in a management position, his income and status are no less than an owner of a normal small business company.
