There are three big differences. 1.) wei wei is closer with her roommates. 2.) her roommates did it for wei wei and not for themselves. 3.) when wei wei indicated she didn’t want to go through with it, her roommates were opposed but acquiesced, whereas ButterflyDreams not only tried to pressure wei wei to stay but took it a step further by trying to make her convince her boyfriend to stay even when it was clear she was uncomfortable.

Not completely. Roommates Wei Wei acted in her interest, while the butterfly had more selfish intentions. Wei Wei can be blinded by Xiao Nai, but she is a smart and sensible girl, she can feel honesty.

Well, Wei Wei has a sense of integrity that runs very deep. She really doesn’t need the friendship and a lot of people have already given her more grief than she deserves, I think Butterfly is the one who needs a good friend to help her develop a better sense of worth. It’s hard to use good judgement when you’re in a lot of pain.

Ikr. That’s why i believe butterfly deserve a second chance. Weiwei was being too cold just because they are online ‘friends’.

Hmm I think Wei wei got hurt more because she considered butterfly as her friend. Imagine, a friend invites you for a lunch, but when u get there u see ppl who insulted/humiliated you. Basically she felt cheated. Butterfly could have approached her, but instead she sneakily used Wei wei for revenge. If she really was her friend, would she have used her like that? Also wei Wei trusted butterfly. I know she has also met xiao nai and others, but the point is she doesn’t reveal her real identity easily. She decided to meet butterfly because she knew butterfly was having a hard time, but instead she was used. I can certainly see why Wei wei got upset.
