So far, she is my fav female lead. i love how she really strong and cool and COLD and yeah Li chuan this time, she properly teach you.

Although her action is clearly she has been “weak” because of him but that proves she change because she love him and she stay “same” because she still love him.
And the smoke part- somehow I feels so much cool scene.

I like XQ’s character as a whole (strong, independent) but I dislike the fact that she chose to let him and their breakup affect her actions, e.g smoking. I understand that she was deeply in love at 17 but still it just bugs me that her health is at stake because she couldn’t get out or refuse to let go of her love haze. It’s been six years and I feel that she could’ve resort to other methods to move on from him but I just don’t agree to what she does to her body. You can change but not to those kind of changes that damages your physical health to prove to yourself or anyone that you are strong and is able to get past hardships. Anyway sorry for the long rant of my personal opinion. I still love this story.
The fact that she can still ask him for his jacket shows that although they were apart for years, they’re still comfortable around each other. Why do I think that LC purposely had XQ translate for an hour just to be near her? Thanks for the chapter!
