This novel has been in my reading list since forever and just got around to reading it now.

I cannot stand XXQ! She’s extremely self-centered. I know this is her POV but most of the things she did since breaking up with LC was self-destructive and toxic, and she’s not even aware. She’s just all ‘I’m so miserable. I’m so angry. I can’t live without you.’ She was broken-hearted and I get that but I can’t stand by it being dragged that long. GIRL, MOVE THE F ON! Even when LC pleaded with her to move on, she just went crazy on him! And he’s so patient with her, she doesn’t deserve him AT ALL. She’s a shrew is what she is. Augh.

I needed that out of my chest coz I’ve been fuming for over a dozen chapters now. I don’t know how redeemable XXQ is gonna be in the next chapters but blech. She gets on my nerves. She needs to snap out of it & get it together. I can’t wait to finish this novel & drive myself insane even more by watching the drama.

Yes! There are some improvement in their relationship! At least Xiao qiu now knows Li Chuan’s side to the story.
