Rereading this again as I watch the drama…. All I can say is that I never felt this way when I first read but… Li Chuan…. you suck! If he really didn’t want Xiao Qiu to suffer, he should know that Xiao Qiu would only be more upset about being driven away when he is sick. Now that she knows the truth, he should just accept her graciously. At least, he would be slightly happier now and she would be happier now. If he dies, she is going to suffer either way. Might as well create some happy memories and leave no regrets!
