My heart hurts for the pains Li Chuan suffered and he don’t seem to get catch a break. With a heavy heart I am trying to watch the raw episodes now as i can’t find the English subtitled episodes for the first 36 episodes. I am a bit surprised though as the book is definitely popular. Is it because of the bad ending (from what I gathered from the reviews) that no one has the mood to provide the subtitles?

I love this book but I loved the tv drama even more. I think for those who hasn’t seen the tv version of r”Remembering Li Chuan” they should see it. Personally I think the TV adaptation was much better than the book because it has many funny parts on the TV. It also never lacked the chemistry of the leading characters. Plus the handsomeness of Godfrey Gao. The director and all the acting staff did a superb job.
