The conference had a formal banquet and wine reception. After taking a shower, Li Chuan took me to buy a black evening dress. We strolled down the street north of the Church, eating the local tangerines and sweet melons, and bought a bag of pistachios. When we returned to the hotel, the banquet had already started. Li Chuan introduced me to those of his industry. Everyone used various languages to chat about industry news. I accompanied him the entire time, smiling and listening.
